LOLpost: What DOES a full on, double rainbow mean?

I wish I had answers to all the questions I’m sure everyone is asking. Suffice it to say, this man is quite possibly fucking insane.

What we know;

1 Yosemitebear LOVES reainbows

2 DOUBLE rainbows make him go apeshit

3 He may or may not have endured several orgasms during the filming of the video

4 Double rainbows in your front yard means.. something

Thats pretty much all of the information I want to gather. Any more and I would probably only be letdown.

Yes, I Inhaled

This story is apparently very old but only recently landed in my inbox. After a little research behind the viral video I managed to find this from FOX 5 San Diego

SAN DIEGO – A home in the College Area went up in smoke Tuesday, and when fire fighters put out the flames they discovered what appeared to be a marijuana growing operation.

Jonathon Slade, who lives four houses away, first learned of the fire when someone pounded on his front door.

“The neighbor came to my door fairly hysterical,” he said. “She was yelling about smoke down the street.”

Slade followed her to the home and found the man who lives there running in and out of the burning house.

“He did say twice, don’t call 9-1-1,” said Slade.

The statement would make much more sense after fire fighters put out the flames.

Investigators found three rooms in the home with more than 300 marijuana plants growing at different stages ranging from seedlings to full grown plants. They also learned the man who rented the home was bypassing the electric meter and stealing the electricity used to operate the large heat lamps.

The man who lives there was wheeled away and treated for smoke inhalation. His puppy was rescued from the back yard.

Just a Little Bit of History Repeating

Rachel Maddow breaks it down for us, long story short.. things haven’t really changed. I just hope people look at this fiasco and it finally clicks,”Maybe we SHOULD be looking for alternative energy sources?” It’s not just fossil fuel and petrochemical combustion that is the problem, its just this stuff existing in or environment that is the problem. FIgure it out people, ditch your dependancy on oil.

7-Year Old Girl Murdered by Police During Botched SWAT Raid

Aiyana Stanley Jones was a normal little girl taking a nap on her sofa in Detroit, MI on May 16th.

Detroit SWAT was serving a search warrant on her home and threw a flash grenade on the same sofa which she was sleeping. Shortly after this SWAT entered the home and shot her in the head assuming she was a suspect. So not only was she executed they also burned her terribly.

Details on this story are very fuzzy as it happened almost a week ago and it is just today appearing in many of our email inboxes and facebook news feeds. The best info I have found on this story states that the warrant was served to the wrong address.

The chain of events that led to the police shooting of a sleeping 7-year-old may have begun with an argument over dirty looks in an east-side liquor store parking lot.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy authorized a murder warrant Wednesday against the man police were seeking when they killed Aiyana Stanley Jones while raiding her home early Sunday.

Chauncey Louis Owens, 34, of Detroit will be arraigned today on charges of first-degree murder, being a four-time felony offender and gun charges in connection with Friday’s shooting death of 17-year-old Southeastern High School senior Jerean Blake.

“The death of Jerean Blake is as senseless as it can get,” Worthy said. “The allegations are that the defendant killed the 17-year-old high school student because he looked at the defendant the wrong way.”

Blake was shot in front of numerous witnesses in a parking lot on Mack Avenue near St. Jean.

Don’t let this story stay under wraps, someone said, “We’ve really lost our nerve, people used to start riots for MUCH less.” While I don’t believe rioting is the appropriate course of action, raising awareness amongst your friends and family is the key. Put an end to police brutality and put a halt on this outbreak of police violence (see Dog Murdered Over Misdemeanor Possession) These are YOUR police, assigned the duty to SERVE and PROTECT. Not MAME and EXECUTE! Make sure they do their jobs, let your voice be heard!!

The Austin City Limits Line-Up is Here!

The ACL 2010 lineup has been released and I have to say, I’m quite impressed. Though in past years the side stage shows usually had offerings I could recognize, sadly this year I’m a main stage guy (for now). My only complaint is that 3-Day passes are sold out, yes…  SOLD OUT and the line up was JUST released… TODAY! Granted Friday doesn’t offer much (for me anyway) other than the Strokes and the Black Keys, but for 15 dollars extra (added to the cost of a Sat/Sun ticket) it would be nice to see them as well.

But that’s not even it, I received many a nasty look whilst preparing myself some of my favorite herb in the park. The second I lit a cigarette and drank a beer all was well. I hope and wish for this years festival to get back to what it once was.
